Rocking Horses
The rocking horses we make have been inspired by the old fairground and carousel
horses, the saddles bridles and decoration is usually carved in with no extra trimmings
except a tail which is real horse hair and glass eyes.
This is popular with some of our clients who like to receive their horse unpolished or
painted, so they can have the pleasure of decorating it themselves in the true
fairground style.
Special features and themes can be carved into these
horses at cost.
All of the horses have an opening compartment in the body to hide away all those
sentimental treasures.
We also make carved horses with leather saddlery
painted dapple grey or polished in all sizes .
With all horses we will carve the name of the new owner onto the rocker or stand
free of charge.
All Horses listed are carved from Douglas Fir the red wood this wood has a richness and warmth to add to the home. Oak or Ash can be ordered for the making of the horse of your choice at added cost. Delivery is included in all prices to addresses in the UK mainland.
